After
spending the past year at WZZR writing The Dirt Page along
with broadcasting on Real Radio 94.3 and The Hometeam, I
have began working on a new project that includes my new
entertainment blog B! Online and a new production project I
will be telling everybody about soon. It's gonna be
crazy fun! My favorite time in my broadcasting journey was spent traveling with the Speed Channel for the smash racing series Monsterjam 2007! We traveled to cities large and small across America !!
I was a reporter for the racing show Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt series. The people I work with in motor sports, the drivers, the production crew, and the fans are the nicest and coolest people I ever worked with! The shows are produced by Live Nation and Newave TV.
My adventures in racing were the best times and I would love to go back on the road one day with Nascar!!!!! How cool!
My other dreams are to work on CMT or the E! Network. I love reporting and hosting! My love and passion for entertainment, country music, and racing will hopefully land me a place at a network that shares the same loves!
I have also worked as a correspondent on the nationally syndicated TV show American Latino TV”, where I had so many awesome experiences in different Latino neighborhoods in Texas. I also gained experience as a host and backstage reporter for "Gimme The Mike" in Jacksonville Florida and "Gimme The Mike" North Texas. I was the original host of Gimme The Mike that soon became a nation wide show in local markets from NYC to Orlando .
TV traffic reporter is on my list too! For Dallas ’ Fox 4 News. That was cool!! I got to report from a chopper!
I hope with my experience as a reporter on national TV shows, cable and radio, someone will scoop me up and allow me to make my way to where my heart really lives.
As for radio, over the past 8 years I have worked as the news girl on the number one syndicated radio show Lex and Terry. I was the morning buzz girl for Jack FM in Dallas where i was the only live personality doing news, traffic, and the entertainment buzz as well as personal appearances for the station. I really enjoyed filling in doing traffic in the big d Westwood one's metro traffic in Dallas Fort worth and in Jacksonville , Fl!!
I also kept busy modeling for several photographers and designers in Dallas , Florida and NYC. Back in my skinny days ha!!
Before Brenda caught the broadcasting bug I kept busy acting in theater, film, and TV. As soon as I graduated high school, I hit the road to the big apple and spent the beginning years performing in theater s all over NYC. I received rave reviews for my performance as the lead in the HBO film The Road to Erebus and the indie film, Los Jodedores. I also worked on TV including soaps, WB's Angel, MTV features, and the lead in VH1’s Signs of Life.
I have found new beginnings as I grow stronger in my relationship with God. I am a growing Christian and I love to volunteer for my church and community. Now living in South Florida , I am attending Christ Fellowship with pastor Tom Mullins…I am blessed to have a church like this one!!! Learning and growing deep in my Christian life is not only making me a better person, but is bringing wonderful people into my life.
I thank god for all my blessings and I hope to grow closer to him and share his love with those around me.
